It consists of the same lenses as the "Zenit / Ironglass Soviet Set" but with modifications to the inner barrel coatings that have been modified in AMBER color, which subtly adds a warmer look and helps color matching throughout the set. An "Oval bokeh Anamorphake" has also been included which generates impressive horizontal flares and oval bokeh in the blur.
They are warm lenses, soft but defined in the center and some fall at the edges, with an unmatched bokeh in a very characteristic spiral shape that marks a strong personality and a very artistic look. The coatings are simple (one coat), which offers beautiful glazes and impressive flares in the image.
All lenses cover Vista vision sensors (Red Mostro) and Full Frame (Sony Venice or Arri Alexa Lf) without problem, although they can also work on s35 sensors (Alexa Mini or Red Komodo)
The complete set has been carefully chosen based on the look of the Helios 44-2 and consists of 28mm, 37mm, 58mm and 85mm.
